Swedish DPA to Head Inquiry Into Employment Background Check System

This is a "pressing issue that needs to be resolved," the authority said. The need for background checks is clear, not least in the fight against organized crime, it added, but such processes must also protect personal privacy.
The DPA must report its findings by March 11, 2027, it said.
