FPF Names New Policy Counsel for US Legislation
The Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) promoted Daniel Hales to policy counsel for U.S. legislation, he announced in a LinkedIn post Wednesday. He previously served as a policy fellow at the advocacy organization.

Hales' promotion is one of several recent personnel moves at FPF, including Jordan Francis' promotion to senior policy counsel (see 2509260043) and the departure of Deputy Director Bailey Sanchez (see 2509230026). Also, Tatiana Rice was recently named senior director of U.S. legislation (see 2508110028), replacing Keir Lamont, who joined Meta (see 2508040035 and 2508280008).
