CNIL, Financial Institution to Partner on Use of Data Protection and AI
French privacy regulator CNIL and public financial institution Deposits and Consignments Fund (Caisse des Depots) announced an agreement Monday to boost cooperation on the responsible use of personal data protection and AI within the Caisse.

Under the pact, CNIL will support the fund on the compliance of its data processing and use of AI and will help raise awareness among management and departments about data protection issues.
The fund will contribute to CNIL's work, particularly on the impact of regulatory changes, the parties said, according to a translation. An annual steering committee will monitor their progress and define new areas of cooperation, they added.
