Temu to Defend 'Vigorously' Against Arizona Privacy Litigation
E-commerce platform Temu denied charges of privacy violations and unlawful data collection that the Arizona attorney general leveled at it Monday. In an email to Privacy Daily Wednesday, a company spokesperson said that Temu "will defend itself vigorously."

Arizona also charged Temu with "more traditional" consumer deception, as well as the above violations of the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act (ACFA) (see 2512020062).
The Temu spokesperson added that the platform helps "consumers and families access quality products at affordable prices" as well as "growth opportunities for businesses by offering a low-cost alternative to traditional gatekeepers ... We remain focused on delivering tangible savings to consumers and creating value for sellers."
